Landscape Historian
WHAT IS LANDSCAPE HISTORY?
Landscape History is the study of the physical impact that man and woman have made on landscapes over the millennia. It has little to do with Kings and Queens but is more about history you can see and touch.
The English and Norfolk landscape in particular has been described as the richest historical record we possess. Society has developed in geographical pockets, as reflected in our attitudes, beliefs, social structures and industries. Landscape History takes in all periods from prehistory to the present day.
It covers everything from henges to hillforts, monasteries to manors and agricultural systems to World War II airfields. In fact, all the "old things" you can see and touch!
I also offer two very popular presentations about my Polish heritage and the important role played by Poles in this county, particularly during and after World War II.
"I'm proud to offer this unusual and fascinating portfolio of talks and presentations which are available for local groups, clubs and societies. They include first-class graphics and contain absorbing and enlightening content".
